Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management

Prospective Students

Jeffrey S. Raikes School students are selected from the nation's top high school graduates. Students accepted into the Raikes School are also part of the University of Nebraska Honors Program. Students are challenged to become active participants in their own learning and discovery. Group projects, reports and group learning tasks complement the work that each student performs individually. Raikes School students must be prepared to work effectively individually and enjoy contributing as a group member with fellow students. The students also work closely in collaboration with faculty and staff members. The Student Advisory Board and the Kauffman Residence Association help foster a sense of community. In addition to school commitments, Raikes School students have leadership roles in many campus organizations.
