Alumni Reunion, 2017
Our second annual Raikes School Alumni Reunion was held Friday and Saturday, September 22 and 23. Friday evening featured a reception held at the Courtyard Marriott in Lincoln’s Haymarket. Saturday began with time to connect with current students and tour the Kauffman Center. We then headed to the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center for a tailgate with all University of Nebraska Honors Program alumni, where Raikes School alumni certainly dominated the crowd! Twenty-five lucky alumni also received tickets to the Nebraska v Rutgers football game.
Over 65 people attended the weekend’s activities, including a few from our 5-year and 10-year reunion classes in cohorts 2003 and 2008: NAMES. We plan to hold a similar reunion in fall 2018 over Nebraska’s homecoming weekend. We will specifically recognize cohorts 2004 and 2009 (graduating classes of 2008 and 2013). More details will be sent in the summer 2018 alumni newsletter!
