Award Winners

The Platinum, Gold and Aluminum projects are selected each year by the Design Studio faculty and staff. The Platinum and Gold Project Awards go to the highest performing teams in terms of product produced, sponsor feedback, and overall team dynamics. The Platinum Project PM and DM are given the honor of presenting their project in the Innovation Campus Auditorium to kick off the Design Studio Showcase. The Aluminum Project Award was created, in true Raikes School fashion, to recognize the team that had a few hurdles to overcome but was able to learn and find humor in their less-than-smooth experience.

Rock Star awards are also selected by the Design Studio faculty and staff. Rock Stars are selected for their outstanding work leading and contributing to the overall final product and growth of their team members.

All awards were announced at the Design Studio Internal Celebration, held on the Rule G rooftop in Lincoln's Railyard on Thursday, April 20. The Internal Celebration is a fun culmination to a year's worth of hard work for our students and coaches.
