The Raikes School hosted Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson on September 27 as the fall board speaker.
Raikes School students had the opportunity to attend an exclusive, 2-hour session with Mr. Johnson and Jeff Raikes. The two fielded student questions ranging from work-life balance and Mr. Johnson’s career path to the innovations taking place at Starbucks. Three Raikes School students were even able to have their Starbucks Gold Cards signed.
Mr. Johnson then participated in a conversation open to the public at Nebraska’s College of Business where he gave insights about corporate responsibility and the necessity to take risks in one’s professional and personal life.
