The addition of 41 new freshmen grew the Raikes School to 138 total students. Cohort 2019 began their college experience with the traditional day at the Nebraska Ropes Course the Friday before classes began. In addition to peer mentor group discussions and meetings, the freshmen were also welcomed to the community with an activity with each cohort of current students: freshmen and seniors went to the Top Golf Swing Suites at the Graduate Hotel, freshmen and juniors ate dinner and played yard games on Hudl’s rooftop patio after receiving tours from Raikes School alumni working at Hudl, and freshmen and sophomores went ice skating at Breslow Ice Rink.

Cohort 2019 is already excelling inside and outside the classroom and we’re excited to see what they accomplish during their 4 years in the Raikes School and beyond!
