General Partner, Speedway Properties

As a co-founder and general partner, Clay leads the Speedway Properties team. Clay earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University, graduating with distinction. He went on to earn his master’s degree in industrial engineering and engineering management from Stanford University. Prior to re-joining Speedway on a full-time basis, Clay worked with the Booz Allen & Hamilton consulting firm in New York City and the Hellman & Friedman investment banking firm in San Francisco. Clay is active in Lincoln, having served on dozens of community organization’s boards. He currently serves on the boards of Nebraska Young Presidents Organization, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Nebraska Humanities Council, Museum of Nebraska Art, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Sheldon Museum of Art.
