The Raikes School is excited to host our annual Alumni Reunion on Friday, October 9 from 7:00-8:30 pm CDT. While we would love to see you all in person, we must prioritize your health and safety and will therefore host the event virtually via Zoom. We know this will still be a wonderful opportunity to hear updates about the happenings of the Raikes School and connect with members of our alumni community, which is more important now than ever!
This event will include:
- Updates from the Raikes School – The Raikes School and the entire higher education landscape have undergone significant changes over the last few months. We’ll share current happenings, our plans for next semester, and our evolving vision for the future.
- Opportunities to engage with each other and be entertained – We all love a good trivia game. We’ll test your knowledge of Raikes School history and current stats. We’ll also ask you, and a team, to search your house for some items in a Nebraska, Raikes School, and education themed scavenger hunt. Prizes will be mailed to the winners!
As an added bonus, we’ll also send you a Raikes School recipe book and Spotify playlist curated by you and your alumni peers.
- Raikes School Recipe Book – In your RSVP, submit your favorite quarantine recipe(s) to share with the alumni community. We will compile all submissions and share them electronically with everyone who attends.
- Raikes School Spotify Playlist – Also in your RSVP, submit your favorite song(s) that have helped you focus while working from home (or in a physically distanced office). We will create a Spotify playlist to share with everyone who attends.
This year, we will also honor our 5-, 10-, and 15-year reunion classes:
- 5-Year Reunion – Class of 2015 (Cohort 2011)
- 10-Year Reunion – Class of 2010 (Cohort 2006)
- 15-Year Reunion – Class of 2005 (Cohort 2001)
If you are a member of one of these cohorts, encourage your classmates to join us so we can recognize this milestone! And, as always, we will mail attendees in these classes some of our favorite Raikes School merchandise!
