Jenny joined the Raikes School in November 2022. Prior to joining the Raikes School, Jenny worked as an adjunct professor and practicum supervisor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She provided supervision in classroom environments for students just starting their elementary education teaching experiences. She also worked with student teachers as they finished their fieldwork, prepared for Capstone, and applied for jobs.
She has been involved in many non-profits that support the Lincoln community. She is a former board member of Bright Lights and the Lancaster Medical Alliance, former guild member for the Heartland Cancer Foundation, former LPS volunteer, as well as former Food Bank and BackPack volunteer.
Jenny has a bachelor of science in Education from the State University of New York College at Geneseo, and a master's degree from Stony Brook University. Before arriving in Lincoln, she taught elementary school and GED classes in New York and North Carolina.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Jenny has been happily landlocked in Lincoln for over eleven years. She enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with her family. She has two Goldendoodles that keep everyone smiling. Jenny has also enjoyed partnering with real estate opportunities that have specialized in hard money lending, residential property renovations, and real estate investments.
