Nancy Heyne is a Design Studio Program Lead in the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management. After graduating with high distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Nancy began her career in Washington, D.C. working on capitol hill.

She has twenty years of experience in business, primarily working for Fleishman Hillard, a global public relations and marketing firm in multiple locations across the United States. She has worked with a variety of clients ranging from large corporations to non-profit organizations on strategic planning, crisis communications, and issues management. Nancy is a natural fit for the Design Studio team as she has implemented and simultaneously managed external and internal corporate communications, marketing projects, social media integration, and website development while working with teams.

Nancy has a BS from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Advertising and Consumer Science. She continues using her skills in Design Studio where she partners with corporate sponsors to develop real-world projects as part of the Raikes School capstone program. During the school year, she's mentoring students as they manage and develop their products.

Despite having moved twelve times between six different states, Nancy still enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Nancy's hobbies include cooking, fitness, and loving her dog, Mort.
