Each fall, the Raikes School hosts a career fair specifically for Raikes School students and Design Studio associates. With 162 students in the program for 2025-2026, our students are among the nation's top candidates for internships and full-time employment upon graduation.
Registration for the 2025 Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management Career Fair will open on July 31 via Handshake. This year's event will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 6:15 pm – 8:00 pm in the Kauffman Academic Residential Center on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's city campus.
The Raikes School Career Fair is held exclusively for Raikes School students and students participating in the Raikes School's Design Studio capstone. Employers interested in hiring motivated, high-achieving students with majors in a variety of computing, engineering, and business fields for internships and full-time positions are encouraged to participate.
Options for employer participation in the Fall 2025 fair are as follows:
- Free Level: Companies with 50 or fewer employees will have free access to the career fair, will be assigned a table by Raikes School staff, and may purchase parking passes, as needed. Companies who qualify for this level are welcome to register under another level to receive more access.
- $600 Level: Companies will be assigned a table by Raikes School staff and may purchase parking passes, as needed.
- $700 Level: Companies will preference their top 3 table locations. Companies will receive an invitation to attend the Raikes School Employer Reception attended by Raikes School staff, faculty, and student leaders from 5:30-6:15 pm in the Kauffman Center on the evening of the career fair. Attendees will also receive complimentary parking.
- Design Studio Level: 2025-2026 Design Studio sponsors can participate in the career fair free of charge. Companies will preference their top 3 table locations. Companies will receive an invitation to attend the Raikes School Employer Reception attended by Raikes School staff, faculty, and student leaders from 5:30-6:15 pm in the Kauffman Center on the evening of the career fair. Space is limited to 40 companies and registration tends to fill quickly. We encourage you to register by the end of August if you are interested in participating.
