Each fall, the Raikes School hosts a career fair specifically for Raikes School students and Design Studio associates. With 182 students in the program, plus 38 associates for 2026-2027, our students are among the nation's top candidates for internships and full-time employment upon graduation.

Registration for the Fall 2026 Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management Career Fair will open on July 30, 2026 via Handshake. This year's fair will take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 from 6:15 – 8:00pm in the Kauffman Academic Residential Center on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's city campus.
The Raikes School Career Fair is held exclusively for Raikes School students and students participating in the Raikes School's Design Studio capstone. Employers interested in hiring motivated, high-achieving students with majors in a variety of computing, engineering, and business fields for internships and full-time positions are encouraged to participate.
All attendees participating in the Raikes School Career Fair will receive an invitation to attend the Raikes School Employer Reception (appetizers and beverages included) from 5:30-6:15pm in the Kauffman Center on the evening of the career fair. Additionally, all attendees will receive complimentary parking.
Options for employer participation in the Fall 2026 fair are as follows:
- Design Studio Level: 2026-2027 Design Studio sponsors can participate in the career fair free of charge. Companies may preference their top 3 table locations. To learn more about Design Studio or sponsoring a project, contact Rob Nickolaus, Director of Design Studio, at designstudio@unl.edu.
- Free Level: Companies with 50 or fewer employees will have free access to the career fair and will be assigned a table by Raikes School staff.
- $700 Level: For companies with more than 50 employees and non-Design Studio sponsors, the cost to attend the Raikes School Career Fair is $700. Companies may preference their top 3 table locations.
Space is limited to 50 companies and registration tends to fill quickly. We encourage you to register by the end of August 31 if you are interested in participating.
