The power of every person + Raikes School community

We believe together is better

The Raikes School helped me reach my potential - a potential much higher than I even thought I was capable of. Being a Raikes School student, you're given unprecedented access to personal and professional growth. I was able to get my first internship at the Raikes School-only Career fair, received access to tools and resources to start my own business, and even shook hands with my future "boss" - Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella - at our annual Board Speaker event. I certainly owe all my successes, my growth, and my sense of confidence to my cohortmates, the faculty/staff, and mentors at UNL and at the Raikes School.

The Raikes School is an amazing way to get the small college feel with all of the resources and amenities of a Big Ten university. It's also incredibly unique in its focus on producing industry-ready graduates in computer science and business, something I don't think is matched with any other program. All of that with some of the brightest, most interesting students and faculty around you as your support system makes the Raikes School among the best places you could spend your undegrad years.

Creating a better world through innovation.

The Raikes School community is much more than our students; It is an ecosystem of alumni, students, faculty, staff, and industry partners dedicated to the idea that high-achieving people who have a passion for change can do big things. We aim to inspire others to take pride in your work and never sacrifice quality or integrity.

As members of the broader University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Big Ten community, students and faculty in the Raikes School can be found all over campus, engaging in collaborative research efforts, serving on committees and student groups, leading extracurricular activities and athletic events, or volunteering for important causes. No matter where they are, Raikes School members are always exploring new opportunities, building partnerships, and making a difference in the community.
