Our second annual Raikes School Alumni Reunion was held Friday and Saturday, September 22 and 23. Friday evening featured a reception held at the Courtyard Marriott in Lincoln’s Haymarket. Saturday began with time to connect with current students and tour the Kauffman Center. We then headed to the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center for a tailgate with all University of Nebraska Honors Program alumni, where Raikes School alumni certainly dominated the crowd! Twenty-five alumni also received tickets to the Nebraska vs. Rutgers football game.
Over 65 people attended the weekend’s activities, including a few from our 5-year and 10-year reunion classes in cohorts 2003 and 2008: Sean Golden (2003), Travis Meinders (2003), Alex Person (2003), Daniel Rowe (2003), Brian Zimmer (2003), Matthew Blankenau (2008), Jeff Hicks (2008), Billy Kelden (2008), Nick Krieger (2008), Matt Munger (2008), Beth Neilsen (2008), Lauren O'Donnell (2008), and Ethan Simmons (2008).
