How to Apply
- Complete the University of Nebraska-Lincoln application at http://admissions.unl.edu/apply/. We recommend applying to Nebraska by October 15 to ensure your application is reviewed well in advance of the November 15 deadline.
- We recommend uploading your high school transcript through MyRED by October 15 to ensure it's received and processed by the deadline.
- Apply to the Raikes School through your MyRED account. All Nebraska honors programs share one application. The deadline to apply to the Raikes School is November 15.
- Students will be selected to participate in interviews at the Kauffman Center based on the strength of their application. These interviews will begin in mid-January. Students will be notified about their selection to participate in an interview by mid-December.

A Competitive Applicant
- Scores 30+ on the ACT or a 1400+ on the SAT (median ACT score is 33)
- Is in the top 10% of their graduating class (if your high school calculates class rank)
- Wants an interdisciplinary education in computer science and business
- Exhibits leadership skills and a desire to serve their community
- Gets involved in clubs and organizations that reflect their passions and interests
- Shows initiative by pursuing a rigorous high school education and a growth mindset
